Privacy Policy
VidFind is designed for private video search. You can use the app without an account, and your imported videos stay on your device.
VidFind does not upload your videos, does not require a login, and does not sell personal information.
Information you choose to provide
VidFind lets you import videos from your photo library. Those videos are copied into the app's local storage so you can search them later. VidFind also creates local data that helps the app find matching moments in your videos.
This content stays on your device unless you personally export, share, back up, or transfer it through Apple services or other tools outside VidFind.
Photo library access
VidFind requests access to the videos you select from your photo library. The app uses that access only to import the chosen video files into VidFind. It does not browse, upload, or share your photo library.
Account and identity
VidFind does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or social profile through the app.
If you contact support by email, we will receive the email address and message you send. We use that information only to respond to your request and improve support.
Purchases
VidFind Pro is sold through Apple's App Store. Apple processes purchases, refunds, and payment information. VidFind receives purchase status from Apple so the app can unlock Pro features. We do not receive your full payment card details.
Internet connection
VidFind's core video search works on your device. The app may connect to Apple services for App Store purchases, restore purchases, app updates, and system features. The landing page and support email are hosted separately from the app.
Analytics and tracking
VidFind does not use third-party advertising trackers. We do not sell or rent personal information. If future versions add optional diagnostics or analytics, this policy will be updated before those changes are released.
Deleting your data
You can delete individual imported videos inside VidFind. You can also clear all app storage from Settings in the app or delete the app from your device. Deleting the app removes VidFind's local app data from that device, subject to normal iOS backup behavior.
Children's privacy
VidFind is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has contacted us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy when the app changes or when legal requirements change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it was last updated.
